A New Calling

I am now the Second Assistant in the High Priest Group Leadership. I High Priest Group Leader is a member for about 2 years, Larry Whaley. The First Assistant is Tom Morley.

Yesterday I worked most of the day and missed having the opportunity to go to the day sessions of conference. I did attend the Priesthood Session of General Conference. I enjoyed listening to the talks and the music. It was uplifting to me. Today's first session was also nice. President Monson did appear to be much more at ease this session of conference as opposed to last.

One of the themes of a talk today was to enjoy the NOW. Too many somedays will result in a tomorrow with regrets for yesterday. It is time to determine that there are things that are important that need attention over those things that appear to be urgent.

I too enjoyed the advice to enjoy the nows in our lives.

It is so nice to have conference piped into our home.
