Busy, Busy, Busy

Jeanette and I had to choose between going to the High Priest Group Social or going to the company dinner. We chose the company dinner.

Stake Conference bode me attend three sessions. Elder Gibson and Elder Clayton were visiting General Authorities.

Tonight was the Midway High School Christmas Concert. Eric and I sang together. The fathers are invited to join the men's choir. We sang Ding Dong Merrily on High and Blue Moon.

Wednesday is busy.

Friday I will have a Toastmasters meeting at our house.

Sunday the choir is singing in Marlin. Jeanette, Debra, Eric, and I are in the choir.

We had Choir practice yesterday afternoon for 2 hours just before the Christmas Devotional.

Busy, busy busy.

  2. I'm really busy. too. It seems that every moment of my life is scheduled. I thought that getting old would mean that I had a little time to just do what I wanted to do. That is not the case. I'm in a Christmas Play, taking classes to learn how to do my Family History Consultant calling properly. For example, Sunday morning I go to church at 9, I get there at 8:30. After the block, Bonnie and family came for lunch. It ended up 10 people. at 4 I had tithing settlement, at 4;15 I had Family History Training, at 5 I had practice for my part in the play. At 6 was the Christmas Devotional. It felt good to stop and rest for a while. I do love being busy, But, a little less would seem good. I'm glad that I can still do what I'm called to do.
