Martin Marietta sent me off to school in Los Angeles.
The trip was quite educational. I learned more than just about composites. This was my first stay in a major city.

Larry, I didn't know that you had gone to training in California. That is good to get all of the training and education, that is possible in good things. Our lesson in Relief Society, today was on knowledge and that we cannot be saved in ignorance. knowledge of good things is light. Darkness cannot remain where there is light and knowledge. A blessing to you that you have had the blessing of a good education, both secular and spiritual. I am happy that you are so well educated and you use it. I think you are a wonderful person. Your Mom
