Home again, home again, jiggety jig.

We took a little stop by the dam bridge near the Glenn Canyon Dam.

We took a littte stop in Santa Rosa on the way home to break up the trip.

Best Western let us use their swimming pool for a few minutes before we had to retire to bed.

It just seems like time was going backwards.

We stopped in Lubbock to visit with Randy Vance a little. He said that his mother was not doing well. She is losing her vision, her hearing, and her mind. It was sad to hear. She was at Leslie's house during the week. We decided not to go that way. We had lunch with Randy.

  1. Who's Leslie, and what does "Randy.Vance AT TTU.EDU" mean?

  2. My father had a brother name Earl. Earl and Winnabel lived in Manassa for a period of time near where we lived. Randy is about my age and went to school one year ahead of me. Leslie is his younger sister. She married a man from Lubbock and they moved there. Leslie is my first cousin. The Randy.Vance @ TTU.EDU is an e-mail address.

  3. I cannot imagine how tired you and your family are. We got home from the reunion yesterday exhausted. Neither did we take as long as you, nor did we travel as far. It was so good to see you all. We missed the members of your family that we didn't get to see. We will have to make an effort to write to them.

  4. I feel that we have mostly recovered from the trip. We had to transfer some of our savings to checking in order to pay our gasoline charges.
