Paul was an 11 year old scout when he started his garden as part of a merit badge. You can view the beautiful garden at http://texasromer.blogspot.com/2008/05/gardening-merit-badge.html
I am fortunate to be the recipient of some of the fruits of that garden. Paul called me on Sunday and offered to bring a bag of jalepen~os. I told him we were departing and would come by and get them. I forgot and we did not.
Brandy brought them by our home yesterday. I have enjoyed them for the last few meals.
I have some advice for anybody that likes hot peppers. Do not cut the peppers and handle them and then later rub your eyes.

Oh, really why? HAHAHAHA
ReplyDeleteYes, there are several parts of the body that should not be touched after handling jalapenos. I learned that the hard way.
ReplyDeletePlease tell me you didn't relearn this lesson with Paul's peppers.
ReplyDeleteAlso, the last photo you posted is a bit dark and at first I thought it was a picture of you with a flame in your mouth.
Always learning and never coming to a knowledge of the truth.
ReplyDeleteI like getting older in some ways, because every day is a new adventure.
You know what they say. The second thing to go is the memory.
